Overview

Healthcare workers face immense challenges, including trauma, burnout, and personal or domestic issues. At Tai Women’s Health Kenya, we recognize the critical importance of mental health support for these dedicated professionals. Our mission is to provide a safe space and the necessary tools to help healthcare workers maintain their mental well-being, enabling them to continue their vital work with resilience and strength.

Our Mental Health Support Services

Group Therapy Sessions

We organize group sessions where healthcare workers can connect with like-minded colleagues who share similar challenges. These sessions provide an opportunity for peer support, fostering a sense of community and understanding among participants.

Mental Health Supervision

We offer mental health supervision for healthcare workers, ensuring they have access to professional guidance and support. This supervision helps them navigate the complexities of their roles while maintaining their mental well-being.

Capacity Building Programs

Our programs focus on enhancing the skills and resilience of healthcare workers. We provide training on problem-solving techniques, counseling skills, and team collaboration, empowering them to manage stress, handle trauma, and support each other effectively.

Why It Matters

Healthcare workers are the backbone of our health systems, yet they often face overwhelming stress and emotional challenges. By addressing their mental health needs, we ensure that they can continue to provide high-quality care to others while also taking care of themselves. Our mental health support initiatives are designed to reduce burnout, improve job satisfaction, and create a healthier, more supportive work environment.
